The ‘Governor’ of Nigerian Governors (3)

By Matthew Mahmood

Left, the cheerful winner of NGF election 2013 and (right) the sad old loser

A plot to kill the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) led by Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi has been uncovered.

If it succeeds, the action will pave the way for the recognition of Governor Jonah Jang as chairman.

It was gathered that some forces in the Presidency, in connivance with some governors, are trying to prevail on the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to de-register the NGF.

The plan is to, after the de-registration, declare the NGF being led by Amaechi as illegal.
The Nation

Undemocratic!! The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has threatened to deal with governors who refuse to recognise the loser of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) election as the winner with sanction. It is clear that Governor Jonah David Jang lost the election by scoring 16 votes and Governor Rotimi Amaechi won the election by scoring 19 votes. The upright governors should not be arm twisted into the submission of falsehood.

Jang and his ‘Jang-Gang’ are losers. The governors on Amaechi’s side have threatened to take legal action against the PDP. It is obvious that the Presidency is planning to use PDP to punish the governors for voting for Amaechi. There should not be two factions of NGF fighting for supremacy and neither should the illegal gang ‘win’ all costs. Jang, the Arugbo ojo (old) Governor from the Plateau is a shameless loser.

We are yet to see Anti-Jang t-shirts like ‘My Oga at the Top’ t-shirts? Who wants to spend the night in detention at Alagbon? PDP is ready to cow anybody because of Jang. Orlando Owoh sang a song on Alagbon. Fela Kuti released 'Alagbon Close' in 1974. Alagbon is a notorious police station in Lagos. Fela says in ‘Alagbon Close’ that, ‘Dem go lock you for months, months and months, they call am investigation’. Is that not wicked? That was in those days. According to some ex-detainees, there are cell governors at Alagbon. New inmates are normally battered blue and black.

It is not mandatory to wear Anti-Jang t-shirts when Amaechi and governors in his NGF faction have been bullied and threatened by the PDP. If you wish to wear Anti-Jang t-shirts you can. Below are three of our Anti-Jang or anti-illegal NGF (online) t-shirts design. You can design yours for your blog too or use the ones below. Just as good as wearing real Anti-Jang t-shirts… As long as we can ‘suck’ the message into their undemocratic skulls!
