Professor Albert Chinualumogu Achebe (16 November 1930 – 21 March 2013)
Renowned Nigerian author Chinua Achebe has died at the age of 82 after a brief illness.
A statement from his family said his "wisdom and courage" were an "inspiration to all who knew him".One of Africa's best known authors, his 1958 debut novel Things Fall Apart, which dealt with the impact of colonialism in Africa, has sold more than 10 million copies.

The author is also known for the influential essay An Image of Africa: Racism in Conrad's Heart of Darkness (1975), a hard-hitting critique of Conrad in which he says the author turned the African continent into "a metaphysical battlefield devoid of all recognisable humanity, into which the wandering European enters at his peril", asking: "Can nobody see the preposterous and perverse arrogance in thus reducing Africa to the role of props for the break-up of one petty European mind?"

Renowned evangelist and founder of the World Soul Winning Evangelical Ministry, Prophet Timothy Obadare, died in a private hospital after a protracted illness in Akure on Thursday at the age of 85.

Meanwhile, Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State has described the death of Obadare, as an example of the marching on of a saint.
Mimiko, in a statement yesterday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Eni Akinsola, said Obadare's life, ministry and influence can be likened to those of saints, rare and uncommon.
"In his way of life, concern for the lost soul and uplifting of the name of God, Obadare stands tall among the prophets of his generation and broke barriers that health attempted to place on his way. He was consistent and controlled, aggressive yet unobstructive and had no pretensions about his faith and God.

The truth should be told. Of course this is a 'Limited Edition'. Somebody who is very close to us was a Born Again Christian for seven years until the person saw the 'light' after a Pastor stepped on the pulpit and revealed an alleged secret of some churches.
Some Pastors from different churches disliked a specific Pastor and decided to deal with him spiritually. They converged on the mountain top (not Mountain of Fire). Before proceeding to the mountain top they tested a brand new car battery in a car to make sure that it worked. They took the car battery to the mountain top and placed hefty curses on the pastor they disliked with the battery as a point of contact. They placed unprintable curses on him through the battery.
They took the battery away from the mountain top in order to test it. The battery did not work at all which meant that their curses were in tact. They were very happy indeed. If the battery had worked their curses would have been useless. This is how powerful some Pastors are. Do you think this is mumbo jumbo?
