Mentor: H-e-l-l-o!
Docky: Can I speak with mentor? I’m Docky Alaye Bobo (nickname).
Mentor: Docky Alaye, Alaye Bobo!
Docky: How are you and your family sir?
Mentor: My family is fine.
Docky: Mentor! Can you help us to warn that holier than thou successor of yours?
Mentor: (silently grinning) what is it this time?
Docky: He sacked 788 physicians because we went on strike.
Mentor: Legally, you were all sacked by the state government. Oh gosh! I have received countless phone calls on the mass retrenchment. In fact, medical doctors don’t allow my mobile phones to rest. Most times, my phones are kept on silent mode. I’m trying to avoid GSM noise pollution. Why are they phoning me instead of him?
Docky: Fa-Sacker tried to evict us from our official homes after sacking us. He then recruited 373 other doctors and recalled 34 sacked doctors. He went berserk and shocked the masses. The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Gas Workers went on strike to support us. Call the madman to order?
Mentor: Which madman? That was how some people said Rashidi Yekini was a madman without a psychiatric test and result to prove it. I don’t like mudslinging or name calling etcetera. (Laughs) Ha ha ha!
Docky: I can’t laugh sir!
Mentor: How can you laugh as a jobless physician? The smart physicians have private clinics as alternative jobs to fall back on. When I wanted to bring succor to the state, were you not among the Apostles of Fa-Sacker? Was it not a doctor cum legislator that backed Fa-Sacker? It led to the end of the doctor’s political career in the senate although I also wanted slots for my protégé, wife and son-in-law, in and out of Lagos State. So, this is Fa-Sacker’s way of paying doctors back. A blogger didn’t like me because of the way I dealt with the doctor cum lawmaker. You were also against me, weren't you?
Docky: I am very sorry sir! We were all blinded by deceit.
Mentor: Please, do not complain. Shut up! I wanted to yank him off his position in order to allow another party member to contest the gubernatorial election but most of you lot screamed no, no, and no. Now, he is fanning chili pepper up your nose. Did I not replace his deputy before the election? I can see ahead of time. I didn’t get my chieftaincy title as a leader for nothing.
Docky: I am sorry sir. Please forgive me.
Mentor: I cannot blame people who do not believe in forgiveness because over 70% of adults can never change but pretend to change. 
so what is the problem now?
Docky: He previously said that he could not reverse the sack. We are dealing with a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). We want the state government to send us a letter stating that it has withdrawn our termination of employment and another letter stating that it has re-employed us. Alternatively, it can make both statements in one letter, sir!
Mentor: So, you lot are now awake and fully aware that you are dealing with a SAN? (Laughing) Ha haaar hooo haaaaaaaaar! You should have known by now that some lawyers hate signing such documents. That is when you would realise that lawyers are more familiar with papers and pens than journalists and teachers.
Docky: We don’t trust him at all.
Mentor: But you all trusted and supported him when I wanted to boot out of office. Look, I want to relax. Tell your warmongering colleagues to stop phoning me. I may have to change my phone numbers because I have better things to do. I hope Fa-Sacker gives all of you doses of Naga Bhut Jolokia; the hottest pepper in the world.

Lagos Plane Crash kills 153, 3 Days of Mourning
Dana Air crashed in Lagos today with about 153 passengers. The plane flew from Abuja. According to media reports there was no survivor. President Goodluck Jonathan has declared three days of mourning. Witnesses said that, “The Dana Air plane struck a two-storey building and burst into flames”. Another plane crash occurred in Ghana when a cargo plane that flew from Nigeria killed 10 people yesterday.
