Sovereign Republic of South Sudan

Republic of South Sudan's flag and soldiers
South Sudan is the newest country in the world. At ‘1.25 pm, the Sovereign Republic of South Sudan’ was ‘declared’ although the country became independent at 'midnight'. Presidents of African countries e.g., Sudan, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Equatorial Guinea and the prime minister of Ethiopia attended the ‘formal declaration of the independence of South Sudan’ in Juba. Nevertheless, the north Sudan army should stop the alleged nefarious air strikes in South Sudan, East Africa. Enough is enough!

The black African tribes of South Sudan and the mainly Arab north battled two civil wars over more than five decades, and some 2 million died in the latest war, from 1983-2005. It culminated in a 2005 peace deal that led to Saturday's independence declaration.
