N170 Million Liaison Office and Guest Lodge

I personally designed the lodge to my taste but now another person will enjoy it.
Outgoing Governor Akala

Oyo State Government Liaison Office and VIP Guest Lodge in Lagos
We would like to thank the out-going Governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao Akala for rebuilding Oyo State Government liaison office and VIP guest lodge in Lagos State at a staggering cost of N170 million; when Lagos is about an hour drive from Oyo State. It is a pity that he would not enjoy sleeping in the special governor’s lodge often because he lost the election to Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

Embittered Akala is busy trying to revamp his dented image by paying N18,000 minimum wage for workers in a spiteful manner after Ajimobi promised to improve the livelihood of civil servants in the state. What else would Akala do before his exit date when Ajimobi will be sworn in as the Governor of Oyo State on May 29? Let us wait and see as the people of Oyo State also await May 29.

Akala is surrounded by some bad advisers that dare not tell him the truth. What was the sense of wasting N170 million on a guest house and liaison office when the masses are living in penury? Is it really worth N170 million or more? Why not give freebies to Oyo State indigenes and residents instead? It may ‘sound’ crude but it might have been better. What was wrong with the former construction of the property? We have been there before… but Akala claims that the property was initially 'deteriorated'. Deteriorated or not up to Akala's flamboyant taste?

Which musician will sing Akala out of office? 9ice or Alhaji Kollington Ayinla? If it is 9ice, it may be Akala's 'favourite' Afro hip-hop song Gongo Aso (2008) because Akala is expected to become a cabinet minister in President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration. That would be more billions and grease to Akala’s elbow.

If it is fuji musician Ayinla, the appropriate song for Akala would be Ijo Yoyo (1990) because Akala is fond of bleaching his skin in and out of office. Akala should stop looking glum and cheer up because his time is up. Nevertheless, we wish Akala a peaceful exit with pomp and pageantry. Odabo sir! Let us pop some champagne.
