New PDP Chairman Abubarkar Baraje
The warring factions of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) initially agreed to ceasefire until they meet again on October 7. When seven governors and the new PDP chairman Abubarkar Baraje went to the National Assembly to sort out their party issues, a ‘fight’ reportedly broke out. Recently, the new PDP lifted the suspension of Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi from the party.
The old PDP accused Amaechi of having a lot of control over the media. Bayelsa State police are involved in propaganda to make Amaechi look like a troublemaker like the police abuse of Rivers State by claiming that Amaechi’s group were planning to disrupt Bayelsa State which is the President's state of origin. It was obvious that the allegations were untrue.

He is divorced, single again and looking for a new wife at 75.
You have answered your question. Well that is life .At least it’s on record that I once had a wife, whom I stayed for 30 years plus, and we were very happy, but unfortunately for me, she died. That’s all. The two who have come after her, there are irreconcilable differences.
Would you marry again?
Yes. I will.
Where will you go this time?
Do you have any beautiful sister or cousin or aunty in Igbo land who you can introduce to me,?
I HAVE ONE ALREADY
Let me see her, then we can begin from there.[ Laughs. ]
Since you broke up in July, how have you been coping?. There is no presence of any woman in this big house?

She was acclaimed to be the goddess of fertility, protection, and blessing; she possessed the ability to give children to barren women and power to heal the sick and the afflicted using medicinal water from the river.
Worshipers believed that Oso-igbo still possesses that efficacious power to bail them out of their problem because her existence is eternal hence their commitment to the worship of the deity.
However, Osun Osogbo festival transcends the local belief of her adherents now that it has become a world acclaimed festival, an heritage site in Nigeria sponsored by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
